Song description: My mother died when I was 18 years old as a result of heart damage sustained from a bout with Rheumatic fever when she was a child. In many ways she was a walking miracle and the legacy of her faith is something that has inspired me since I was young. This song was written as a Mother’s Day tribute to her and to all mothers who inspire faith in their children. I think many of them underestimate the impact they have on their children. I was fortunate that my mother was a woman of deep faith. Passing on that faith is the greatest gift that she gave me.
