Song description: Several years ago, we had the unfortunate experience of having to dismiss one our pastors from service in our congregation because of misconduct. It was a very painful experience for all of us on many levels. This song was written as vehicle to help us both grieve and express confidence in God’s provision. Whether it be discipline or grace and mercy, God’s hand delivers what is best for us and we can trust His good intention for us. Whether His provision is painful or pleasing, it is always perfect.
